The center embraces a dual mission: to educate students and the next generation of leaders from around the world in human rights policy and practice; and to convene and provide policy-relevant knowledge to international organizations, governments, policymakers, and businesses.

The Oxford Cambridge Forum For Flourishing, Learning, AI & Research (OxBridge FFLARE) is a joint initiative between Generative AI, an initiative of the Global Challenges Programme at Reuben College, University of Oxford and LOGOS at the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH), University of Cambridge.
Uniting expertise from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, OxBridge FFLARE brings together leading academics, industry, policymakers, and civil society representatives to engage with solution-oriented exploration and dialogue on policy for research on impacts of AI on learning, wellbeing, and development. This collaboration will aim to leverage learnings from research and policy interventions to understand how policy can be used as a lever to advance human flourishing.
Global Responsible Technology Lab

Founded in February 2026 by Prof. Marc Ratkovic and Dr. Eirliani Abdul Rahman, the Global Research Technology Lab, or in short GRTL, serves as a collaborative umbrella for projects dedicated to protecting and supporting vulnerable populations like children.
GRTL brings together researchers, practitioners, and policy actors to advance responsible technology development grounded in justice, participation, and real-world impact. The Lab focuses on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), data science, governance, and ethics, with particular attention to how emerging technologies shape power, inequality, and public institutions. By drawing on approaches from social data science, science and technology studies (STS), and public policy, our team develops practical frameworks that align technological innovation with democratic values and human rights.

AI LEARN / SLATE
University of Bergen
SLATE (Centre for the Science of Learning & Technology) is a leading research centre in the development of knowledge about how educational data can be used to support knowledge, learning, and teaching processes. Drawing on interdisciplinary collaboration, SLATE investigates the technological, pedagogical, interpretive, cultural, ethical, and legal aspects of learning analytics (LA) and artificial intelligence in education (AIEd), and promotes the responsible use of technology in education.
SLATE gathers researchers from multiple disciplines, including information science, cognitive science, and pedagogy, thereby conducting integrated research that will advance the frontiers of sciences of learning, as well as inform education practice and policy.

Epistemic Security Network
DEMOS
The Epistemic Security Network is a new network launching in June 2025 and hosted by Demos. It provides a home for collective efforts to protect democracy by cleaning up and fortifying our information supply chains.
At Demos, we think we are in a new era of democratic emergency, one in which our democratic future is not guaranteed. Extreme populist and authoritarian movements around the world are weaponising our information ecosystems. We urgently need a renewed effort to protect our information supply chains from mis- and disinformation, and to improve our democratic health.
The Epistemic Security Network works to mobilise, evidence and design strategies to strengthen the UK’s information supply chain. Together, we examine media policy, regulation, the public service model, the future of local news and citizens education to tackle this vital element of the democratic emergency.
